Friday Night Liberty is a monthly first-Friday evening of FREE open artist studios, galleries and events throughout NTC Promenade Arts & Cultural District.   Free parking. Free Admission.  The Freedom to explore, wander and enjoy our growing cultural campus.

NTC Gallery Dances - A gallery crawl with dance
Jean Isaacs San Diego Dance Theater

Gallery DancersFREE Performances start at the Ingram Plaza Flagpole at 5:30pm and 6:15pm

SDDT brings its Trolley Dances concept to NTC with all new site-specific dances choreographed by Jean Isaacs, Jillian Chu and Anthony Diaz. Tour guides will escort audience members on a gallery crawl at or near new exhibits at the Martha Pace Swift Gallery, the San Diego Watercolor Society, the Visions Art Quilt Gallery, The New Americans Museum Gallery, the ARTS Gallery, and the Mandell Weiss Gallery at Dance Place where new paintings of SDDT dancers by NTC artist Peggy Fischbeck are featured.

Barracks 19

  • Sophie’s Gallery and Gift Shop - Artist reception featuring selected works by noted artist Jack Jordan. Wine & Hors d’oeuvres. Live music by Doug Walker Jazz Duo.

  • Open Art Studios and Exhibits include M. Fischbeck Studio/Gallery, Pantaleoni Photographer, Osias Contemporary Art, Patrick Meehan Fine Art and art works by Kevin Winger of Mod-Est Studio/Gallery.

  • Artisan chocolates at Chi Chocolate, instructor demonstrations at Bravo School of Art, and fashions for girls and women at fiveloaves twofish.

  • Visions Art Quilt GalleryTransformations: Reflections: features art quilts from nine countries and 16 states that give a sense of the artist’s eye and hand working together to present a thought, a meditation, observation or transformation.

  • New Americans Museum Gallery –  Collected Stories Features visual art war stories from the viewpoint of Camp Pendleton youth and compelling story-based artworks by San Diego Artists. Presented by the Allied Artists Association of San Diego.
