ARTS - A Reason to Survive
Founded in 2001, ARTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization driven by people who believe in the power of the arts to heal, inspire and empower. We focus our services on children (age 3 to18) facing many types of life challenges. ARTS does this with a small staff and dedicated volunteers - these creative, committed and passionate people have allowed ARTS to help more than 25,000 kids in its first 6 years.

The ARTS Gallery
The ARTS Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting and selling original artwork and merchandise. Art displayed in our gallery is primarily from two sources - children who participate in ARTS programs and artists who volunteer at ARTS. Visit the ARTS Gallery regularly to see what's new and exciting in the world of ARTS.

Martha Pace Swift Gallery
The Swift Gallery is located in Building 201 next to Solare Ristorante at 2820 Roosevelt Road.  Curated by the Expressive Arts Institute (EAI), the gallery features four to five high quality exhibits of visual art annually, with a focus on San Diego and emerging California artists, but with an open call-for-submission process to allow for national and international perspectives. The gallery is designed as a “public space gallery” that is accessible and “part of the fabric” of a visit to NTC. Art will be displayed in the main foyer of Building 201, formerly a Navy administration building built in 1941 that features an expansive exhibit space and stairwell designed in the Art Moderne style of architecture with high walls and lots of natural light.
