Restaurants & Retail
NTC Promenade is San Diego's newest Arts & Cultural district, but we haven't forgotten the retail sector. We are working to bring innovative businesses, from clothing to restuarants, to Liberty Station as part of our mission. Check out some of our current Resident Groups and keep an eye on this page as we add more.
Chi Chocolat
Natural compounds in chocolate act to lift your mood and help you relax. So, we believe a little time spent on savouring our fine chocolates is a balm to the soul.... At Chi Chocolat, we bring you the most exquisite chocolates created with the finest ingredients. Many of our products are hand-rolled and molded using quality, authentic ingredients - a fundamental ethos and the 'no nasties' approach bans the use of additives such as hydrogenated vegetable fat and artificial colors in order to let the pure chocolate flavors and aromas through. An intense focus on both the culinary and visual artistry of chocolate make these treats both beautiful to behold and a delight to consume.
fiveloaves twofish
fiveloaves twofish was created by two sisters - Kit Frye and Heather Haas. Kit Frye is a design graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology and Heather Haas is a historian with a masters from San Diego State University. These unlikely professions have merged to create designs that combine high fashion with a romanticized historical edge. Our look is free spirited "girlie-girl". We surely do not want anyone to think that these are not play clothes. Our clothes are made to enjoy and live in. They celebrate the short carefree time of life when we are girls and boys at play.
Solare Ristorante & Lounge
The setting, service, decor and ambiance in this historic Liberty Station location is like no other. Family-owned and operated, Stefano and Roberta hail from Milan, Italy and personally designed every aspect of Solare’s interior and decor. The organic elements, like teak for the customized furnishings, natural wood floors & fabrics imported from Bali Solare creates an invitation to enjoy the positive energy and vibe. To be a “green” restaurant, Solare uses many organic produce, wild fish, and hormone free meat. Housed in the filming location for Top Gun, Solare helps to sustain the historical landmarks of NTC Promenade.
