Community Serving
Expressive Arts Institute
The Expressive Arts Institute’s mission is to provide an educational experience of unparalleled quality to each student. Our programs provide the thorough academic grounding needed for professional success, with an emphasis on experiential learning and exploration through studio work, classes and workshops. Through shared art-making, students and faculty form a learning community deeply rooted in the body, senses and imagination. Students become disciplined in phenomenology: the practice of paying attention to what is present and authentic. The Institute provides a safe, challenging and nurturing atmosphere for personal and professional growth.

Liberty School at NTC
The NTC Foundation has launched The Liberty School, an innovative new program that provides at-risk San Diego school children with arts, culture, and science classes. Students attend classes with the resident arts and culture groups at NTC Promenade, the new Civic, Arts and Culture District in Liberty Station at the former Naval Training Center in Point Loma. During this first semester, resident groups are providing instruction in dance, art, karate, and science to San Diego students each month.
San Diego Coastkeeper
San Diego Coastkeeper protects the region’s bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. We balance community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.
The Jenna Druck Center
The Foundation has developed two programs, Young Women’s Leadership and Families Helping Families. These programs were established to serve two different groups, but they both bring hope and inspiration to those whose lives they touch.
Young Women’s Leadership was established to honor Jenna’s accomplishments as a leader by providing leadership training and opportunities to upcoming young women.
Families Helping Families was created to serve people in their journey through grief. Families Helping Families is unique in its approach, focusing on a recognition and respect for the belief that grief is individual, and there is no correct answer or ready solution for overcoming grief.
The programs of The Jenna Druck Center have touched and inspired thousands – either providing encouragement and support to families in their darkest and most difficult hours, or encouraging young women to fulfill their dreams.
Walkabout International
